Common questions
Short answers to the things people ask most.
Is Willow a bank?
No. Willow is not a bank and holds no deposits. It's a card and spending layer for assets you hold in your own wallet on Robinhood Chain.
Are you affiliated with Robinhood?
No. Willow is an independent product built on Robinhood Chain, which is a public, permissionless network. Building on the chain doesn't make us affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
How is this different from the Robinhood Gold Card?
The Gold Card is a US-only product for Robinhood Gold subscribers. Willow serves the 100+ countries it doesn't reach. We're complementary, we extend the ecosystem to people outside its footprint, not competing for the same users.
Is my money locked?
No. It sits in your own wallet, in your control, until you spend it or move it. You can leave any time and take your balance with you.
How do the rewards work?
Balances held in USDG in your own wallet earn variable rewards, paid in USDG. They're rewards, not interest, and they're not guaranteed. The rate will be published before launch.
Is there a Willow token?
No. There's no Willow token, and you don't need any specific token to use the card.
