Before you start
- A Robinhood Chain wallet. Any wallet that supports the chain will work.
- A balance in USDG, or another supported asset you can swap in one tap.
- An email address. Your virtual card is delivered there.
- You must be in an eligible country outside the United States.
The four steps
Connect your wallet
Any wallet on Robinhood Chain works. Connect an existing one, or create an embedded wallet on the spot.
Verify once
Card programs are regulated everywhere they operate, so a light identity check is required before a card can be issued. Willow uses a certified verification flow that asks for the minimum necessary. It is not a bank account application and there is no credit check.
Receive your card
Once verification clears, your virtual card is issued and delivered by email in seconds. There is nothing to activate. Add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay and it works immediately.
Hold USDG and tap
Keep your balance in your own wallet, earning rewards* until you spend. At checkout, the card handles the rest.
There is no funding step
This is the part that differs from every other card you have used. You do not load a balance, because loading a balance is the thing Willow exists to remove. You hold USDG in your own wallet and grant the card permission to draw from it when you spend. Verification is about issuing a card, not about your money: your balance is never held or reviewed by Willow at any point.
