What is Willow?
Willow is the spend layer for Robinhood Chain: a card funded straight from your own wallet, so everything you hold onchain becomes money you can spend in the real world.
It turns the stablecoins and tokenized assets you already hold into money you can spend anywhere major cards are accepted, without moving them out of your own wallet until the instant you pay. A Willow balance is never dead money. It sits in USDG in your wallet, earning rewards* in rewards, until the exact moment of spend.
The trade off we removed
Every payment instrument ever made forces a choice between money that is ready and money that is working. Cash in a wallet earns nothing. A prepaid balance earns nothing. Money that is invested or deposited cannot be tapped at a terminal. You have always had to pick one.
Onchain finance dissolves that choice. When a dollar can live in your own wallet, earn rewards every day it sits there, and still be authorized for spending in the same second you need it, the line between spending money and working money disappears.
