Using Willow

Spending your portfolio

Whatever lives on Robinhood Chain becomes tap to pay money. No bridges, no exchange withdrawals, no bank transfers pending.

Where the card works

Anywhere major cards are accepted: 100+ countries, online, in stores, and through Apple Pay and Google Pay. If a merchant takes contactless or a standard card today, Willow works there. Corner shop in Manchester, metro in Madrid, street food in Bangkok.

What using it feels like

Ordinary. That is the point. You tap and it approves at the speed you expect. The only difference is what happened behind it: your money was earning until a fraction of a second before the terminal responded, and everything you did not spend is still earning now.

Spend from stock tokens

Anything you hold on Robinhood Chain can become spendable. Tokenized stocks and other supported assets can be swapped to USDG, and one tap swap to spend is on the roadmap so the swap happens as part of the purchase. During private beta you hold and spend USDG directly; swap to spend arrives with the public launch. public launch

Wallets

Willow works with any Robinhood Chain wallet and supports standard connection methods, so you can use the wallet you already have rather than moving to a new one. There is no Willow wallet to migrate to and no Willow balance to top up. The wallet you already use is the account.

Gas

Robinhood Chain uses ETH for gas. Transfers at the moment of spend are single, small transactions on a network built for high throughput.

Good to know: spending or swapping digital assets can be a taxable event where you live. Willow does not give tax advice. Check your local rules or ask a professional.
